Our Bird of the Century is proudly staking their claim to fame in gardens around the world, thanks to our friends at Metalbird. Pūteketeke and friend is on sale now, and available throughout the campaign with 30% of proceeds donated to Forest & Bird.
Since 2020 Metalbird have been collaborating with Forest & Bird, creating limited edition pieces, including the Bird of the Year (or Century!) winner and donating to support conservation here in Aotearoa. Bird Conservation is and always will be a core value of Metalbird, as they are determined to give back to the birds that continue to inspire them.
The creative team at Metalbird are on standby to shape the winning bird out of their signature corten steel. Within days of the winner being announced, they will have this bird flying (or hopping or waddling?!) out the door and into gardens.
